Restorative dentistry
Close the gap, without a removable piece.
A bridge replaces a missing tooth or teeth with a fixed restoration held by crowns on the teeth either side.

About this service
When a tooth is lost, the teeth around it can tilt and the bite can change. A bridge fills the space with a false tooth joined to crowns on the neighbouring teeth, so the result is fixed in place.
It restores chewing, keeps neighbouring teeth from drifting, and does not come out.
Bridges and implants both replace missing teeth. At your consultation we will explain how each would work in your case, including cost and timing, so the choice is an informed one.
Who it may be appropriate for
- Anyone missing one or more teeth in a row
- Patients who want a fixed solution rather than a removable partial
- People whose neighbouring teeth would benefit from crowns anyway
