Restorative dentistry
Protection that looks like a tooth.
A crown covers the whole visible part of a damaged or weakened tooth, restoring its strength and shape.

About this service
A crown is recommended when a tooth has lost too much structure for a filling, has cracked, or has had root canal treatment and needs protecting. The tooth is shaped, an impression is taken, and the crown is made to fit your bite precisely.
We offer porcelain, zirconia, gold and metal crowns, and custom designed crowns for patients who want something distinctive.
Material depends on where the tooth is and what matters most to you: porcelain and zirconia for a natural look, gold and metal for strength on back teeth. We also make designed crowns, including grill style concepts, for patients who want a crown that makes a statement.
Who it may be appropriate for
- A tooth that is cracked, badly worn or heavily filled
- Teeth that have had root canal treatment
- Patients who want to restore a tooth's appearance as well as its strength
- Anyone interested in a custom designed or gold crown
